What did the Blackbird Say?

April 15, 2022 | By

A cute poem for children about a blackbird that sings a song of hope and a brighter future.

what did the blackbird say poem
What are you singing for?

Replied she in a voice that shall not cease

“I sing a blessed hymn of peace,

If you are hurting, you shall heal

With renewed spirit contented feel”

She said to me on a cloudy day,

“Better days ahead, do not despair

The misty air shall fade away to reveal a sunset fair”
