Images of all forms,
Descend with drops of dew
I’m struck with thirst: oh quench it!
Of life’s nectar
Images of all forms,
Descend with drops of dew.
I move and move……
Kicking life’s shadows,
Harnessing magical melodies;
Drinking nectar of every shore
Even knowing the closed door!
Will, may, might, shall…..
A hundred gifts at every step
Heaven’s my destination,
Emptiness was my birth:
The truth of existence,
Did intoxicate my life
Amidst the whirlpools of negativity.
Payel Ganguly is a teacher and educator by profession and a creative writer, textile designer, painter and poet by passion. Many of her creative works have been published and she has received various international awards for painting.
