Across the Borders of Sanity

August 29, 2013

Where endless tears turn to mindless laughter across the borders of sanity.

By Puja Mukherjee

TearGunshots fill the heavy air
feet scamper to safety
yet she stands still
his blood splattered all over her
gripping him by the arms she shakes
as he lets go
not a step does she take
and yet in those seconds she travels
across the borders of sanity
where endless tears turn to mindless laughter
across the borders of sanity.
