You add a smile to your lips when you create one for others,
And subtract a many, when because of you, on someone pain showers.
You add a smile to your lips when you create one for others
Beneath the stacks of fanciful times,
Lay those unearthly moments during which the bell of my heart joyfully chimes.
Like a black rose in a bouquet of red ones,
Those unparalleled bits are overlooked ever-desired wants.
Neglected and ignored always they are,
As if our lives without them will be happier.
Everyone mocks at the misery of a person,
But does anyone care to say, ‘Don’t cry, life goes on!’?
When you do something selflessly,
Loved and blessed by everyone you will be.
Then why live just for trivial yens?
As if life is about only ‘I, me and myself’ and gold-egg laying hens!
Even the heartless have to admit,
That they don’t forget the hug when no one bothers though on the heart they are hardly hit.
So why be a miser when it comes to open-handed care?
Like your soul is coated up with hate, layer upon layer.
You add a smile to your lips when you create one for others,
And subtract a many, when because of you, on someone pain showers.
Be the happiness-spreading one, not the distressed young guy who’s drunken,
Discarded remembrances are unforgettable yet forgotten.
"Even the heartless have to admit,
That they don’t forget the hug when no one bothers…" – A Heart-Touching #Poem http://t.co/Sm0DJi5cif
