The 2013 Durga Puja in Kolkata at Sree Bhumi witnessed a display of
jewellery valued at Rs 4 crore.
As a Tata Group initiative, Tanishq was the leading player of this first of its kind event in Kolkata’s Durga Puja ceremonies where the idols were decorated with pure gold jewellery.
The puja pandal was of golden colour just as the Shwedagon Pagoda and stupa in Yangon also known as Rangoon, a former capital of Burma. (Myanmar).
