SRK’s Jawan is the most highly anticipated movie of the year 2023. The Jawan team made the movie announcement one year ago on YouTube, and the intriguing teaser still of a heavily bandaged SRK signalled something big waiting to happen. The box-office breaking success of the action flick Pathaan added to the hype.
Riding on the frenzy created by Pathaan, Jawan is expected to have mass action scenes from King Khan. The teaser stills of the upcoming movie have got fans intrigued and media reports indicate that the trailer, to be released sometime in early July, is expected to be mindblowing. The director of superhit Tamil films Atlee marks his Hindi debut with Jawan. The films stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in lead with Shah Rukh Khan.
The Prevue of Jawan released on July 10, 2023 showcases state-of-the-art special effects, electrifying action and an intriguing peek into the film. Interestingly, the Hindi Prevue ends with SRK dancing in the metro to Hemant Kumar’s classic song from Bees Saal Baad (1962) — Beqarar karke humein yun na jaiye while the Tamil Prevue has SRK rocking to Gemini Ganesan’s blockbuster song Pattu Padava from the superhit Tamil film Then Nilavu (1961). Talk about catching the imagination of both the uber modern and retro lovers.
Director: Atlee Kumar
Music Director: Anirudh Ravichander
Cast: Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi
Release Date: 7 September 2023
Salman Khan is back with a bang from his latest action-packed Tiger 3. This would be the sequel to the YRF’s spy movie Tiger Zinda Hai. Katrina Kaif would also be seen in major action scenes in the movie, making the movie’s hype even higher.
The Spy Universe is a shared universe created by Yash Raj Films franchise, revolving around fictional RAW agents. The highly successful franchise started Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and its sequel Tiger Zinda Hai (2017). Next came War (2019), the Hrithik Roshan starrer, which was a standalone film and did not have crossover characters. The SRK blockbuster Pathaan (2023) had characters from both the Tiger franchise and War. And now YRF is all set for the 4th film in the Spy Universe — Tiger 3.
Now here’s the trump card! Remember Salman’s explosive special appearance in Pathaan that had the fans swooning? It is SRK’s turn to repay with a cameo appearance in Tiger 3. And it is sure to blast the screen!
Director: Maneesh Sharma
Music Director: Pritam Chakraborty
Cast: Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Emraan Hashmi, Shah Rukh Khan
