Gomti Ke Kinare (1972), starring Meena Kumari and Mumtaz is directed by Saawan Kumar Tak. This forgettable flick had some brilliant R D Burman tracks written by Majrooh, esp the Kishore-Asha duet ‘Kya jaano tum bin thi kya dil ko beqarari..’ and the Lata-Kishore immortal number – ‘Jeene ka din mar jaane ka mausam hai in nazaaron mein…’
