Histories

August 20, 2015 | By

A critical and enriching poem on the scope and purpose of art and how art originated in human minds.

art(1)

Cautious paths suit the scripted
sometime successful and the saintly.
Art is an amphora of excess and ability.
Kosher for those who shun cinctures.

(2)

Between us is a hardcover of history.
Legacies lacerate, yours and mine more.
Grief was our governess, trouble our toy.
Pain was our playground. The gauze
of geniality had to give in.
