Seasons Of The World

April 3, 2015 | By

Archisha Bhatt, a VII Std. student muses over the four delightful seasons of the world and the bounties each of them bring for us.

four seasons

The seasons of the world,
All gay and bright,
I give you my word,
They are full of delight.

The blossom of flowers,
The season of Spring,
When God showers,
His bounty and bling.

The season of Summer,
So hot and dry,
Even the roads shimmer,
For respite, we cry.

Then comes Autumn,
So windy and gay,
Leaves turn auburn,
Where fairies come to play.

At last comes Winter,
So cold and bare,
The white snow glitters,
And the eyes blink from the glare.
