A skilled lathe worker, Joshi is left jobless when the owner has to close his losing business. For him, losing this job is as good as losing his identity. He looks on helplessly as his wife enlarges her food catering service while transforming from traditional housewife to savvy entrepreneur, his son who has an electronic repair shop, and even his mother who chants 500,000 times using a chant machine. Joshi finds it difficult to give in to the times where numbers are more significant than skill. A moving, poetic and meditative look at a good man lost in the crossroads of a rapidly changing world.
Director : Mangesh Joshi
