A historical trip to Jaipur via Samode Bagh

November 14, 2013 | By

Jaipur is the capital city of Rajasthan. It was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the ruler of Amber, after whom the city has been named. The whole city is built in red and pink sandstone and also called “Pink City”.
Included on the Golden Triangle tourist circuit, along with Delhi and Agra, Jaipur is an extremely popular tourist destination.
Samode Bagh is about 44 kms from Jaipur. It is one of the heritage structures in Rajasthan which has been converted into a luxury vacation resort with beautiful tents and sprawing garden for a relaxing getaway from the hustle bustle of the nearby cities.
