I was trying my best
To put beautiful words
On a blank page
I was trying my best
To put beautiful words
On a blank page
But I can’t
Once this mind and hand
Can’t stop creating
Can’t stop pouring
Great Ideas, beautiful words
On a piece of blank page
Now all I can do
Is stare at a blank page
With no idea at all
In my mind
Am I suffering
A temporary poet’s block
Or has the poet in me
Died forever
Have I really lost the magic to
Create beautiful meaningful word
On a blank page.
