Sails made of dreams, inflated by desires

Sails made of dreams, inflated by desires
On a ship of cardboard, he sailed
Out of the docks, with people waving
Not a soul doubted his journey
Hearts, held on to his spirit
For they will sink with him
Just within sight,
yes, next to the light house,
With the sky as clear, as his spirit
Embracing the water, with all the glory
Sails made of dreams, inflated by desires
Where could he have gone, he was always at home
Where couldn’t he have, he was always away
