Vembanadu lake – a hut in the small island patch on the lake
Backwaters of Kerala are the source of the local people’s livelihood. The fish is caught from its waters; paddy, coconut and other crops are harvested along its banks; small boats are built and used as transport across the backwaters – all of it, an integral part of the traditional way of backwater village life.
Silhouette Magazine is a platform for gathering myriad views on film (and allied art forms) and to continue with the flux of discourse. The Silhouette publications are our attempt to achieve this goal.
