Nandita Samanta, a science graduate and former teacher, is a multilingual poet, author, artist and a dancer. Apart from being the Managing Director of Philosophique Poetica & Philosophique 2, she is also the Secretary of CCC and a columnist at DT. She was nominated for “100women Half The World Speaks”. Contributor to many online portals. Born in Burdwan, West Bengal, she presently resides in Kolkata. Her writings have been published in various national and international anthologies, magazines and webzines. She writes on vivid themes that are based on her observations on life, love, ambition, nature, culture, folklore, mythology, etc.
