Wall Fresco in Zagreb Cathedral.
Fresco is a technique of mural painting achieved upon freshly laid lime plaster. Water is used as the medium for the colour. As the plaster sets, the painting becomes an integral part of the wall. The fresco technique is closely associated with Italian Renaissance painting.
