An artistic poster of Geet Gaya Pattharon Ne designed by the very famous calendar artist of his time Raghuveer Mulgaokar.
There was a time when everybody had calendars in home with pictures of gods and mythological or historical figures. Raghuveer Mulgaonkar and Deenanath Dalal were two leading artists of this time. Their work on Ramayana, Mahabharata and incidents from the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji were well known.
Deenanath Dalal painted a classic painting of the mythological romantic characters Nal-Damayanti, and many more, but he never worked for film posters.
Raghveer Mulgaokar’s art work was used in many film posters, book covers, calendars and Diwali issues of Marathi magazines. His posters for another classic V Shantaram film Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baaje are also well known for their artistry.
