Since Every Story Says Something!

October 21, 2013 | By

There are millions of classics and billions of characters and each has something or other for the readers to expect, experience and expedite their eternal expedition to chasing dreams.

“And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”
The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho

Significance of reading

Books, since ages, have been the greatest source of knowledge.

Though it’s been near to three decades since these words of wisdom were weaved, the life enhancing effect of these words are still stimulating starters, strugglers and even successfuls to plan, persist and persevere with their drive-to-dreams.

Books, since ages (Bhagavad-Gita), have been the greatest source of knowledge. Fiction or non-fiction, it has never been a concern as long as readers can associate themselves with the words and web of emotions they weave around them.

Neither had anybody inquired about the existence of Santiago (The Alchemist), nor did anyone asked for the proofs of the adventure-ride of a shepherd who followed the omens and chose to chase his dreams (to find a hidden treasure) but still millions believed it, drew motivation out of it and followed the suit to finally live their dreams in broad day light.

Thousands let their tears flow when Ravinder Singh decided to open his heart. The whole India bathed in the colors of Shiva when Amish narrated his trilogy. People from almost every state attended the marriage of Krish and Ananya (Two States – Chetan Bhagat)

While ‘A Monk Who Sold His Ferrari’ inspires people to lead a simple and spiritual life, Maria (Eleven Minutes by Paulo Coelho) – a prostitute – makes the people believe that true love comes to you, provided you never stop desiring and dreaming it.

There are millions of classics and billions of characters and each has something or other for the readers to expect, experience and expedite their eternal expedition to chasing dreams.

Finally I say, do read…forget critics…forget reviews. Read whatever you like to read. As long as you have your reasons to read, nothing else is important.
