Shoghi, Shimla
Shoghi is nestled in the quaint, lush green, hills of Himachal Pradesh. If one wants to avoid the crowded Shimla, but still be near Shimla, Shoghi is the best choice.

Think of a hillstation in India and you think of Shimla. A name almost synonymous with hilly retreats, Shimla has for several hundred years now been playing the role of a pleasant, cool refuge for people across India who are desperate to beat the famous Indian summer.

The imperial British rulers of India had made Shimla the summer capital to escape Delhi’s scorching heat. Today, those colonial buildings form part of Shimla’s proud heritage. Snow capped peaks and the blue mountain ranges that surround the town, the quaint Mall Road and the narrow, paved pathways that serve as her arteries, the panoramic view from Scandal Point and the milling crowds of tourists round the year – all add to Shimla’s ageless charm.
