Rajnigandha had Vidya Sinha caught between the two love interests of her life – Dinesh Thakur, the suave and articulate former student’s union leader and Amol Palekar, the gentle and subtle lover who is more concerned with his office politics than with keeping his fiancée waiting on a date.
