Love is…

February 14, 2016 | By

A refreshing, inspiring poem about the meaning and essence of love

“Touching the flower petals’ velvet
Feeling the fresh breeze caress your cheeks”

Waking up to welcome a new day
Watching the waves rushing to you
Splashing drops of water on your face
Touching the flower petals’ velvet
Feeling the fresh breeze caress your cheeks
Hugging friends, to you who really heed
Helping the lonely and diseased
Giving joy to underprivileged
Thanking God for this lovely life
To help you bear and face all the strife
Fond remembrances of dear ones
Who taught you the secrets of real love
Fly to the azure sky behind veils
Leap high, throw arms, laugh to your content
Love is joy of letting go, to breathe
Each day a new valentine you meet.
