Howard Langston (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is a workaholic mattress salesman who is too busy to find time for his 9-year-old son Jamie and wife Liz. To make up for missing his son’s Karate graduation, Howard takes it upon himself to get Jamie his Christmas wish, a Turbo Man action figure, popular children’s TV superhero toy just before Christmas. The shopping malls are teeming with customers making frantic last minute purchases and the toys are fast flying off the shelves. Picking up a Turbo Man action figure in this melee is easier said than done.
Giving him competition is another father, a postal worker Myron Larabee (Sinbad), who is just as desperate to get a Turbo Man action figure for his son.
This hilarious race between the two rival fathers for a toy is inspired from the great shopping trends of Christmas sell-outs of popular toys such as Cabbage Patch Kids and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
Jingle All The Way is rated among the best Christmas movies ever as this film celebrates the Christmas spirit with all fun and fervour!. Although the movie was criticized for its focus of the commercialization of Christmas, it went on to become a box-office hit!
