Satbir Chadha, author of the memoir, ‘For God Loves Foolish People’ (Vitasta, 2013), was born in 1950 in Nainital to a business family of devout Sikhs. The family home was in Haldwani in the foothills. She completed schooling from the St. Teresa’s Convent High School, Bombay and joined Sophia College in Bombay to study Humanities. She got married in 1968 and moved to Delhi. She had a short stint of doing business independently [her firm did designing for many advertising agencies]. “For God Loves Foolish People” is her first book. She is one of the authors of Darkness There But Something More, the anthology of ghost stories.
